Kamay Ventures took the second edition of the #KamayCode event to São Paulo to connect entrepreneurs and corporations with the local innovation ecosystem. The experience took place over two days: the first one, August 22nd, where international figures discussed and reflected on relevant topics like AI, Open Finance and sustainability in front of over 500 attendees.

Some of the companies that shared their vision with the audience were Arcor Group, Vox Capital, Nude, Ateha Climate Hub, Sensei, Looqbox, UFG, Intellimetri, GP Investments, WP Capital, GCV, Apex Brasil, Astella Investimento, Altscore, Spiralem, Cubo Itau, and many others. Attendees had the chance to listen to an exclusive talk by Carlos B. Gerdau Johannpeter, Pradotech Partner, and to enjoy Carolina Strobel’s inspirational story about her career and the long way to get to her position today as an Antler Parnet.

There also were spaces specifically designed to learn about technology and business from experts representing Kamay Ventures, Overboost, AWS and more.

Another interesting and innovative addition to this event was an app that allowed attendees to schedule meetings with entrepreneurs, leaders and even the speakers themselves. This way, participants could focus on networking strategically, because they had this special tool to help them introduce themselves and easily arrange meetings.

The second day, August 23rd, 10 startups- that were chosen in the pitching competition the day before – got together with directives representing Kamay Ventures’ partner companies, to participate in an exclusive Design Sprint experience that resulted in 12 Proofs of Concept (PoC).
